AS9100:2016 is the newest aerospace standard and is based on the ISO 9001:2015 quality system requirements. AS9100 series is the industry-recognized set of standards for quality assurance and risk management. The standards were developed
for organizations that work within the design, development, production, installation, and servicing in the Aviation, Space, and Defense (ASD) sector.
The AS9100 Certification asserts that ELLWOOD Aluminum provides the highest quality aluminum alloys, such as the EllCast5® (Alloy 5083 type) and EllCast2® (Alloy 2618 type) for ingots, billets, slabs, and cast plates used to manufacture material for the aerospace industry. They also offer custom aluminum cuts with responsive customer service, metallurgical support, and inventory management options for other industries including transportation, automotive, trucking, packaging, and tooling.
